For my last wedding of the season, I had the pleasure of being Mari and Kelly's wedding coordinator for their wedding which was held at Gorge Crest vineyards on September 22, 2012! Mari had reached out to me during the winter of 2012 looking for someone to help make their dream classy, DIY, and vintage wedding become a reality. Throughout the months of planning their wedding, Mari was by far one of the most organized brides I have ever worked with-which was totally awesome! I only hope to be half as organized as she was when I am in the process of planning my own! Being that the wedding was occurring during the end of summer/beginning of fall, I was a little worried with the weather but the day turned out to be perfect! The weather was mid-80's, the smoked cleared from Mt. Hood and there were no incidences at all throughout the day! Below you will see some of the pictures of their special day!!
I was the florist for Mari and Kelly's wedding, and also my mother who became my assistant. Soon the kitchen was taken over by wine bottles and flowers used for centerpieces!
Here is a shot of Mari's bouquet made of Blue and White Hydrangeas, Cream Roses, China Berries and Delphiniums.
Here is one of the bridesmaid's bouquets: Green Hydrangeas, Light Green Roses, China Berries and Cymbidium Orchids.
Like I said, the wine bottles were used for centerpieces at all of the tables. Mari had collected all the bottles and wrapped them with wallpaper which looked like wood. We used navy fabric and moss to add to the centerpiece decor.
Instead of table numbers, Mari and Kelly chose to name their tables of places they had traveled to or places that were significant to them.
The old type writter Mari rented to place this note in it beside the escort card holder
Shutters that were rented held the guests escort cards and table names.
One of my favorite pictures of the bridal party table, which was placed in front of the fireplace! Mari had rented special green and blue glassware from Something Borrowed out of Portland, OR.
Bride and Groom's place settings!
Mari and ordered moss covered "M" and "K" initials to place above the
fireplace. Along with mason jars with flowers, vintage candle holders
and shutters with pictures of Kelly and her growing up!
For the guestbook, Mari and Kelly chose to rent a photobooth (Happy-Matic from Portland) and used the pictures of their guests to put in a scrapbook Mari had created. They turned out so cute and I loved all the props that were used!!
For catering, the couple chose Blossoms Catering out of Hood River, Oregon! They did a fantastic job! Mari and Kelly had traveled to Alaska, where Mari's parents live, and they went out and caught all the salmon that was shipped down to Oregon and was served for dinner at the wedding!
Instead of having a cake for all the guests to have for dessert-Mari and Kelly decided to have cupcakes (Cupcake Jones out of Portland, OR). For the tradition of the "Cake Cutting" they ordered a small cake from Fleur Cakes based out of Hood River, OR.
First look for Mari and Kelly-her dress was STUNNING!
The ceremony was beautiful! Perfect weather!
View of the reception area. Mari and her bridesmaids put together all of the pom poms made of tissue paper!
I wish the very best for this couple, they were absolutely amazing to work with. Their friends and family were also so kind and gracious! To many years of happiness, love and laughter for Mari and Kelly Gilmore!

In this essay I will consider the social, economic and political factors of macclesfield wedding venues. I find my self constantly drawn back to the subject of macclesfield wedding venues. Given that its influence pervades our society, it is yet to receive proper recognition for laying the foundations of democracy. Since it was first compared to antidisestablishmentarianism much has been said concerning macclesfield wedding venues by the over 50, obviously. Keeping all of this in mind, in this essay I will examine the major issues.
ReplyDeleteLoved these photographs of this destination wedding. The venue they selected was equally stunning. The skyline shots were awesome. We are also looking for a similar event venue Chicago and have shortlisted couple of venues at EventUP.
